Authorities rescue suicidal subject on I-5 bridge

Vancouver police and firefighters a little after 10 tonight put a suicidal man into an ambulance to be taken for a mental health evaluation.

Details were sketchy, but the man was walking southbound on the northbound span of the Interstate 5 Bridge.

Emergency dispatchers were told the man was suicidal.
