Esther Short — Loaves & Fishes Centers third Clark County Annual Luncheon raised more than $140,000 in just one hour to provide hot meals to seniors throughout Clark County.

Matching funds in honor of John Cartales and from the Feinstein Foundation helped make this amount possible.

More than 350 Clark County business leaders and volunteers gathered at the Hilton Vancouver, Washington on April 26 to hear Brian Rohter, co-founder of New Seasons Market and a veteran Meals-On-Wheels volunteer, deliver the keynote address. Meals-On-Wheels volunteers deliver hot meals to home-bound seniors on a daily basis.
