WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) — A fatal shooting Tuesday is the first homicide this year in Walla Walla.
And, the Union-Bulletin reports police believe it is the first gang-related killing inside the city limits.
Police say Julio Cesar Martinez was walking in an alley with a friend when they were confronted by rival gang members. Martinez was shot twice and died at a hospital.
The friend was uninjured. The suspects ran away.
