INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Former BYU star Jimmer Fredette has started his NBA workouts.

Fredette worked out for the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday. He says he also plans workouts with the Knicks, Sacramento, Utah and Phoenix.

Fredette led the Cougars to a No. 3 seed in the 2011 NCAA tournament and started all 37 games of the season, averaging 28.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.

Duke’s Nolan Smith, Marcus Morris of Kansas, Tobias Harris of Tennessee and Vernon Macklin of Florida also took part in workouts for Larry Bird and other members of the Pacers organization.
