LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) — Gabe Knutson had 16 points, leading four Lehigh players in double-figure scoring as the Mountain Hawks downed William & Mary 82-57 on Friday.

C.J. McCollum added 15 points, Holden Greiner 14 and Stefan Cvrkalj 10 for the Mountain Hawks (2-2), who outshot the Tribe 49.2 percent (30 of 61) to 36.7 percent (18 of 49) to clinch their first win in the 2K Sports Classic.

Lehigh scored early and often, opening the game up early in the first half.

With the score tied 4-4 less than five minutes in, Lehigh’s Mackey McKnight dropped in a layup that started a 44-10 run the rest of the half. That 34-point halftime lead held up despite William & Mary outscoring Lehigh 43-34 in the second half.

Brandon Britt scored 12 points and Marcus Thornton had 11 for the Tribe (0-4), who have lost both of their games in the early-season tournament.
