ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands (AP) — Murphy Holloway scored 20 points to lead Mississippi to an 80-69 victory over TCU on Monday night in the third-place game of the Paradise Jam.

Ole Miss (4-1) also got 14 points from Jarvis Summers and 11 points apiece from Terrance Henry and Dundrecous Nelson.

J.R. Cadot led the Horned Frogs (3-2) with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The Rebels led 35-33 at halftime before pulling away late in the second half.

TCU’s Amric Fields hit a 3-pointer to pull the Horned Frogs within 65-59 with 3:20 left, but Holloway answered with a dunk and Nick Williams hit a 3-pointer to give the Rebels all the breathing room they needed.

Ole Miss, which was coming off a 30-point loss to Marquette on Sunday night, shot 60 percent (30 of 50) from the field.

TCU shot only 42 percent (25 of 59) and committed 19 turnovers.
