Camas — The community baby shower sponsored by Soroptimist International of Camas-Washougal showed that taking care of babies, your own or someone else’s, is enjoyed by people of all ages. Young parents to great-grandparents helped gather nearly 400 new and gently used items for babies at the Fishers Landing Fred Meyer on Nov. 5. Cash donations were used to buy items for tiny babies. The donations were distributed by Babies in Need and through the East County Family Resource Center. Linda Vie, chairwoman of the shower, thanked all the volunteers and donors that helped the babies, from newborn to toddler, in east Clark County.
