LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Bryson Johnson scored 27 points on a career-high nine 3-pointers and Bucknell set a school record with 17 treys in an 87-50 rout of West Alabama on Saturday.

All 15 of Johnson’s attempts were beyond the arc in the TicketCity Legends Classic subregional game. Cameron Ayers added 20 points on 4 of 5 from long range as the Bison (4-2) attempted 34 3-pointers, tying a school mark, to finish at 50 percent.

Phillip Morris led West Alabama with 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting.

The Bison had a 46-33 rebounding edge and dished out 23 assists.
