Mountain View — The Mountain View High School band was featured in a Clorox commercial for a month in late October and early November during the NBC show “Parenthood.” The 30-second spot was a publicity piece for the company’s “Power a Bright Future” school program. Mountain View was awarded a $20,000 grant last year from Clorox in an online voting contest. The money was used to purchase new instruments for the school’s band program.
