Cinco de Mayo Mio wins Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Cinco de Mayo Mio pulled a 9-1 upset in the mud, beating Emily Allstar by 134 lengths Friday in the $54,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.

Ramon Dominguez was aboard for trainer Tom Albertrani as the 4-year-old timed 1:17.72 for the 612 furlongs, winning her third race in nine starts.

Cinco de Mayo Mio paid $20, $6.30 and $3.30. Emily Allstar returned $7.90 and $3.50. Dust and Diamonds, the 1-5 favorite running on a wet track for the first time, faded to third, paying $2.10.
