TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona waltzed through its season opener against Northern Arizona.

The Wildcats have plenty to clean up if they expect to win at No. 9 Oklahoma State on Thursday.

Arizona’s passing game looked good in the opener, as expected. Nick Foles threw for five touchdowns and 412 yards, while Juron Criner caught six passes for 151 yards in the 41-10 win.

But Arizona didn’t have much of a running game, netting just 75 yards. The young offensive line needs work on run blocking and allowed a sack. The kicking game continued to be inconsistent. And the secondary will be challenged by Cowboys quarterback Brandon Weeden and receiver Justin Blackmon.

The Wildcats also were blown out by the Cowboys in last year’s Alamo Bowl.
