CASTELLON, Spain (AP) — Spain captain Albert Costa has included Rafael Nadal in the team for the upcoming Davis Cup semifinal against France.

Costa selected the same lineup that won the 2009 title, with fifth-ranked David Ferrer, Fernando Verdasco and Feliciano Lopez joining Nadal.

Nadal missed July’s quarterfinal victory against the United States to rest ahead of the U.S. Open, where he made headlines Sunday after sliding off his chair during a news conference while fighting leg cramps.

Spain hosts France at Cordoba’s Plaza de Toros bull ring from Sept. 16-18 on outdoor clay.
