EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants have placed middle linebacker Jonathan Goff on injured reserve and signed rookie defensive end Justin Trattou from their practice squad.

Goff tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in practice on Monday.

Trattou becomes the fourth undrafted rookie on the roster, joining fullback Henry Hynoski and linebackers Mark Herzlich and Spencer Paysinger.

Trattou played at Florida, starting 31 games. He was signed as a free agent and was among the Giants’ final cuts last Saturday. He played locally in high school at Don Bosco Prep.

The Giants announced the moves on Saturday.
