Letter: For each failure, there’s a success

As they say, there are two sides to every story. I read the Sept. 8 letter “Mail delivery deteriorating,” by Jim Souder, a former postal worker who is disappointed with his service. It reminded me of a time several years ago when I resided in Sedona, Ariz. I received a letter from classmates advising me of a planned reunion in Aberdeen, Wash. I was amazed that I received the letter because it was addressed to me in Sodonna, Calif. However, they had gotten the zip code right.

So my hat’s off the to the U.S. Postal Service for its perseverance.
