Carr’s 3 TD passes lead Tenn.-Martin to 63-0 rout

MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) — Derek Carr threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns to lead Tennessee-Martin to a 63-0 victory over Union (Ky.) on Thursday night.

The Skyhawks (1-1) led 21-0 at halftime and broke the game open with a 28-point third quarter.

Jason McNair rushed for 123 yards on 17 carries and scored two touchdowns for Tennessee-Martin, which finished with 570 yards total offense.

DJ McNeil also ran for two scores for the Skyhawks, finishing with 79 yards on 12 carries.

Union (1-2) managed just 151 yards total offense and had eight first downs compared to Tennessee-Martin’s 27.
