General election candidates’ night set for Oct. 13

Voters will get a chance to hear from candidates for the Vancouver City Council, the Vancouver school board and the Legislature at a general election candidates’ night Oct. 13.

The event, sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the Forum at the Library, will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St. Candidates will be given time for opening and closing statements, and will answer questions posed by a moderator. The program will be recorded by CVTV for later broadcast.
