ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan has won its first four games and climbed to No. 19 in the rankings, with wins at the Big House against San Diego State, Eastern Michigan, Notre Dame and Western Michigan.

Playing at home against mostly lackluster opponents has left questions about how good the Wolverines are and those queries won’t be answered this weekend.

Michigan caps a five-game stretch of home games with the Big Ten opener against Minnesota. The Golden Gophers are 1-3, coming off a loss to second-tier North Dakota State.

Michigan’s first road game is Oct. 8 at Northwestern.
