OLYMPIA — Washington State Patrol Chief John Batiste will host a question-and-answer session from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday on Twitter.

Batiste will be assisted by staff who will research detailed answers. Participants can ask questions about almost anything, except active investigations, a state patrol release said.

Answers that require more than Twitter’s 140 characters will be posted on the state patrol’s Facebook page, http://facebook.com/WashingtonStatePatrol, according to a news release.

Anyone who wants to participate can talk to the state patrol on its Twitter account, @wastatepatrol or by following the hashtag “#askWSP.”
