Vancouver graphic design firm Deane’s Graphics is changing hands after more than 30 years, with the retirement of founders John and Debbie Deane.

Felida residents Chris and Kiki Bittner took over ownership effective Monday, Chris Bittner said.

He is a graduate with honors from Seattle Art Institute, who took his first design job at Deane’s Graphics in 1992. He did freelance work for Deane’s over the years while helping to build the Vancouver startup BLT Technologies, which eventually became part of Verizon Business. He worked as senior manager of operations and product development at Verizon Business.

Kiki Bittner recently sold a company that produces live competitive events and will work at Deane’s in brand imaging, advertising, marketing and live event planning.
