La Center Elementary School will begin holding kindergarten registration next week.
Parents whose children turn 5 years old on or before Aug. 31 can enroll their child for the 2012-2013 school year. Parents are asked to bring a copy of their child’s birth certificate and immunization record for the registration.
Registration will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each school day from Monday through Mon., April 30, in the school office, 700 E. Fourth St.
An orientation for the parents of incoming kindergartners is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thurs., May 17, in the K-8 cafeteria.
