SEATTLE (AP) — Police say DNA testing has confirmed that body parts found in two locations in Seattle are from the same man, 53-year-old Donald Meyer who was reported missing in June 2011.

Last July, his torso was found at a recycling plant and traced to a bin near Meyer’s apartment in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood.

Last December, a group of homeless outreach volunteers stumbled across other parts of Meyer’s body under a bridge.

Sgt. Sean Whitcomb told KING-TV (http://is.gd/kTwHhB ) the killing appears to be isolated and not the work of a serial killer.
