Marrion — The second annual St. Paddy’s for Parks event at Shorty’s Garden and Home Nursery drew hundreds of people March 16. The authentic Irish sounds of Beltaine were followed by the eclectic Patrick Lamb Band, and attendees enjoyed Irish food, beverages and dancing. The following day, Saturday, March 17, was St. Paddy’s for Kids at Shorty’s, featuring all sorts of free activities for children. It was all to benefit the Parks Foundation, a nonprofit agency that supports parks, trails and recreation programs.
