TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals have drafted wide receiver Michael Floyd of Notre Dame with the 13th pick of the draft.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Floyd will be a welcome addition to a team that has been seeking a dependable No. 2 wide receiver behind Larry Fitzgerald. Floyd and Fitzgerald both are from the Minneapolis area and plan to work out together this summer.

The Cardinals also need an offensive lineman and had Iowa’s Riley Reiff available but chose to go with the skill position instead.
