LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Kareem Richardson is one of three new additions to Louisville coach Rick Pitino’s staff after Pitino’s son, Richard, left to take over Florida International and took two Cardinals’ staffers with him.

Richardson spent last season at Xavier after working three years at Drake. Andre McGee will become Louisville’s director of basketball operations replacing Mark Lieberman and Doug Davenport is the Cardinals new director of video operations replacing Matt Morris.

Louisville is coming off its first Final Four appearance since 2005 and is expected to be highly ranked after losing just three players from last season’s squad.
