Letter: Extremists on both sides of politics

The Columbian
Published: August 23, 2012, 5:00pm

Face it–Leonard Pitts sees the world only through his progressive rose-colored glasses. When discussing home-grown terrorism, he can only see to the right. Unfortunately, there are plenty of nuts on both sides of the political spectrum.

As I recall, a nut-case shot a security guard at a right-wing organization in Washington, D.C., because he didn’t like its politics.

But most of all, where is Pitts’ outrage when it comes to home-grown inner-city terrorism and black-on-black crime? Innocent people are murdered almost daily and yet he remains strangely mum on that subject.
