Heritage High School hosts community health fair

Heritage High School is hosting a community health fair in January.

The “You Matter: Food Matters” health fair is from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 15 at Heritage, 7825 N.E. 130th Ave. Students will provide child care for potty-trained children.

The event will include food, guest speakers, workshops and a clip from the documentary, “Food Matters.”

Workshop and guest speaker topics include healthy after-school snacks, quick dinners, diabetes and health care, fit lifestyles, nutrition, composting, blood pressure, juicing and dehydrating, “super foods” and more.
