Clark County Public Health is joining with FVRLibraries for a free educational series highlighting environmentally friendly lifestyles.

The county’s Green Neighbors, Green Schools and Composter Recycler programs, along with several other community organizations, will offer workshops and events as part of the Conscious Consumption series at Cascade Park Community Library.

The series is open to residents of all ages to learn about sustainability topics, including food waste reduction, worm bin composting and sustainable fashion. Workshops and events will be held at the library, 600 N.E. 136th Ave., Vancouver.

Events include a family fun day, recycling 101, cooking with leftovers, composting with worms and a “trashion” show. For more information, including event dates and times, go to the Green Neighbors website at https://clarkgreenneighbors.org.
