Girls basketball: Hockinson 52, Heritage 36

The Hawks turned up the heat in the third quarter with pressure defense that lead to steals and easy baskets for a non-league victory.

Katelyn McGuire scored 14 points and had 10 rebounds for Hockinson (3-2). Brianna Curtis and Sydnie Cole had five steals each.

Heritage’s Diana Riggs led all scorers with 16 points.
