Battle Ground Lake has been planted with 4,500 rainbow trout, Klineline Pond got 3,200 and Icehouse Lake in Skamania County received almost 500 trout. The fish average about a half-pound.
The creel check at Klineline Pond was 20 bank rods with 32 rainbow kept and eight released.
The East Fork of the Lewis River was a nice 1,450 cubic feet per second on Wednesday and the Washougal was 1,900. The North Fork of the Lewis is a fishable 6,800 cubic feet per second. The Cowlitz also is high at 12,100 cubic feet per second at Mayfield Dam.

Cowlitz — Eighty-nine bank rods with 32 steelhead and one adult fall chinook kept plus two adult chinook and one steelhead released; 141 bank rods with 12 steelhead and three coho kept plus one adult chinook and two steelhead released. Most of the steelhead catch is near the trout hatchery.(WDFW)
