Hazel Dell — King’s Way Christian School National Honor Society gathered 4,042 pairs of socks during a nearly two-week-long donation drive. The students’ efforts will be delivered to Open House Ministries and a women’s shelter. The NHS students asked preschoolers to high schoolers to donate socks. Betsy Zoesch’s sixth-grade class brought in the most, more than 900 pairs. The sock drive ran from Nov. 26 to Dec. 4.
