Coastal Carolina downs Greensboro (NC) 85-65

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) — Kierre Greenwood scored 21 points Sunday night to lead Coastal Carolina to an 85-65 victory over Greensboro in a nonconference game.

For the Chanticleers (5-6), three others finished in double figures. Anthony Raffa scored 20 points, Warren Gillis added 13 (including three 3-pointers) and Michael Enanga 12. Coastal Carolina scored the last seven points of the first half to lead 38-31 at the break.

For Greensboro, a Division III school in North Carolina, Lugman Tijani led all scorers with 22 points. Eighteen of those points came on his six 3-pointers in nine attempts. Teammates Tracy Jester and Damian Dixon added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Coastal Carolina shot 55.2 percent from the floor, hitting 37 of 67 field goal attempts. Greensboro, meanwhile, made 21 of 57 shots from the field (36.8 percent).

The Chanticleers outrebounded Greensboro 42-32, including 19 offensive boards.
