A group of photographers is planning a fundraiser to benefit suicide prevention programs in Battle Ground schools.

The professional photographers will be available for 20-minute photo shoots at Lewisville Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 25, said Korie Accetta, who’s organizing the event.

In exchange for a donation, the photographers will deliver 10 glamorous pictures on a disc. People can pick a spot in the park for their baby, couple or portrait photo.

All the proceeds from the day will go to the Battle Ground school district, earmarked for a suicide-prevention program, Accetta said.

Three young men from Battle Ground schools have taken their own lives in the past 11 months.

For more information, call Accetta at 360-601-7659 or email korienicole@hotmail.com.
