WA agencies lowering flags for slain trooper

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Gov. Chris Gregoire had directed that Washington state agencies lower flags to half staff Thursday in memory of Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu (rad-ihl-EHS’-kyoo).

He was killed last Thursday during a traffic stop near Gorst. A memorial service for Radulescu will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
