NC Central crushes Md-Eastern Shore 77-46

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Dominique Sutton scored 18 points to lead North Carolina Central in a 77-46 rout of Maryland-Eastern Shore on Monday night, snapping a three-game losing streak for the Eagles.

Ray Willis added 16 points and Jeremy Ingram 12 for the Eagles (10-11, 4-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who started rolling against the Hawks early for the easy win. Willis hit four 3-pointers to lead the Eagles, who were 11 of 27 from long range (40.7 percent).

The Hawks were just 1 of 16 from the 3-point arc (6.3 percent).

Willis opened the game with a 3-pointer and the rout was on, as N.C. Central led 13-0 just 7 12 minutes in. The Eagles were up 43-12 at the break and sealed the win in the second half with both teams scoring 34 points apiece.

Tyler Hines led Maryland-Eastern Shore (4-16, 1-6) with 13 points.
