Students celebrate earning GED/diploma at Clark College

Central Park — Some 90 students were recognized at Clark College’s 2012 GED/high school completion recognition ceremony June 23 in the O’Connell Sports Center gymnasium. Joseph Luczek, who earned a diploma marking his high school completion, said, “This program has molded me into the person I am today.” Speakers Lorella Croswell and Joshua Lawrence described how they overcame challenges to successfully complete their GED. Aaron Cliburn of Battle Ground received the $1,500 Pat Fencl Scholarship.
