Amboy — How far can you trace your family’s roots in Washington? Members of Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington No. 19 must have documented Washington ancestry dating to 1869 or earlier. During the group’s June 21 meeting at the North Clark Historical Museum, Jayne McCarly was installed as president. Other new officers include Betty Davenport, Margaret Lubbers, Bev Ervin, Sandy Ruff, Nira Lang, Roberta Emerick and Jackie Anderson. Longtime members Ruth Ham and Margaret Colf Hepola, 95, also attended. The group is dedicated to the preservation of history.
