Hazel Dell Lions honor 3 for service

Hazel Dell — At the Hazel Dell Lions’ annual banquet on June 20, Cara Wood, Justin Wood and Kathy Nelson were honored as Melvin Jones Fellows, the highest recognition a Lion can receive for distinguished work and efforts in service to humanity. Roxie Olson, current chair of Clark County Walk and Knock food drive, was installed as 2012-2013 club president. Other officers are Larry Hansen, first vice president; Leslie Schlitt, second vice president; Kathy Nelsen, third vice president; Ryan Morrison, secretary; Janet Cantrell, treasurer; Dan Kirk, tail twister; Jeff Fish, lion tamer; Dorene Hall, membership; Doug Hall, retention; and Jim Johnston, Bill Lundin and Linda Lundin, board of directors.
