An argument led to a trip to the hospital for a Battle Ground man Saturday night, the Washington State Patrol reported.

The patrol said “an altercation” occurred between Stacey S. Vincent, 36, and John F. Wrightson, 33, both of Battle Ground at about 8:50 p.m. Saturday at 117th Avenue and Northeast 131st Street, near Brush Prairie.

The report said Vincent’s 2009 Dodge Nitro was stopped, and Wrightson was standing outside the car when Vincent to drove away and apparently struck Wrightson. She continued driving, the report said.

Wrightson was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with what the patrol said was an injury to his right foot. He was treated and released.

The incident is under investigation, the patrol said.
