Salmon Creek — Six to eight students in Washington State University Vancouver’s Child Development Program kindergarten will receive scholarships for next school year thanks to a $30,000 gift from the Tod and Maxine McClaskey Foundation. Consideration will be given to families with financial need, whose child has been previously enrolled in the CDP preschool, whose residential school district offers limited or no option for full-day kindergarten, or whose families have experienced unemployment. For more information, call Kathy Austin, 360-546-9722.
