Woodland school district offering free meals

Meals will be served Monday through Friday.

Woodland Public Schools is sponsoring the Simplified Summer Food Program for Children this summer, offering children younger than 18 free breakfast and lunch on weekdays.

The meals will be served Mondays through Fridays at Woodland Middle/High School Commons, 755 Park St., until Aug. 16. The program started Monday. The program will not serve meals on Wednesday, July 4, or Thursday, July 5.

Breakfast is served between 8:30 to 9 a.m. Lunch is served between 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
