Wells Fargo has donated $60,000 to Evergreen Habitat for Humanity in Vancouver. With the bank’s financial and volunteer support, the nonprofit will build four affordable houses in Vancouver for low- to moderate-income families.

Habitat expects to begin construction on two of the houses, at 4901 N.E. 19th Ave. and 1916 N.E. 49th St., this summer.

Construction on the other houses will start later in the year.

The grant is part of the $510,000 the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation has donated to 11 Habitat for Humanity affiliates in Southwest Washington and Oregon this year.
