SALEM, Ore. (AP) — With the legislative session wrapped up, Oregon lawmakers turn their attention to the upcoming elections.

Tuesday is the filing deadline for candidates to get on the ballot for the May 15 primary.

Republicans and Democrats both hope to break a tie in the House, and they wasted no time before boasting about their accomplishments and blaming the other side for their failures.

All 60 House seats and half of the 30 Senate seats are on the ballot this year, along with statewide races for attorney general, secretary of state and labor commissioner.
