Police responded to a reported armed robbery Thursday at a market in the Orchards Marketplace shopping center near the intersection of state Highway 500 and Fourth Plain Boulevard.

The robbery was reported around 1 p.m. in the Taqueria Market.

Police were told that two Hispanic men and one white man entered the store. One of the Hispanic men displayed a handgun, said Kim Kapp, Vancouver police spokeswoman.

No one was reported injured. The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Several patrol units searched the area for a suspect vehicle, described as a gray GMC Yukon SUV with Oregon plates, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian. At this point it is unclear if the vehicle was actually related to the robbery, Kapp said.

When patrol officers finish the report, the case will be forwarded to detectives in the Major Crimes Unit.
