PATERSON, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says a 22-year-old Prosser man was killed when his car collided with a cattle truck on State Highway 221 near Paterson in Benton County.

Troopers said Ivan Pacheco was southbound when he lost control and spun into the northbound lanes just before 6 a.m. Wednesday.

The cattle truck was driven by 25-year-old Dewey Hancock of Vale, Ore., who was not injured.
