It was a wonderful early spring day with sun and mild temperatures as I sat on the riverfront bench. The dark-haired lady strolled by and sat beside me. I greeted her: “The sun is back, and so are you, I see.”
She told me once again the seasons were changing. The flower buds, birds in the yard, a smell of cut grass. Azure skies on the horizon, towering cumulus clouds to keep one at guard, the stature of the trees unfolding their glory. The wind whispers as raindrops tickle your fancy.
A change of pace, change of attire, change of expression, change of hope, and of course a change of seasons. Spring has sprung, the grass has ris’ and I wonder where the little birdies is? She chuckled as she departed … I know the seasons are changing.
March seemingly drifted into June for a short while as afternoon temperatures floated in the 60s. Thank you, east winds and Mr. Sun. Saturday was much nicer than the recent snow and ice.
