SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — The Spokane County sheriff’s office says a home health care worker took more than $30,000 from a woman in her 70s by receiving cash back from grocery store purchases at Liberty Lake.

The 50-year-old woman was jailed Wednesday for investigation of theft.

The loss was discovered when the victim’s daughter checked her bank statement to prepare her taxes.
