Vancouver police are searching for two suspects who allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint Monday night in a grocery store parking lot.

The alleged victims were parked outside Safeway, 3707 Main St., around 9:40 p.m., when two men approached them, got into the back seat and pointed handguns at them.

The suspects got away with a woman’s purse, police said.

Both suspects are described as being between 18 and 25 years old. One man was described as about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build, brown hair and eyes, and was armed with a handgun. The second man was shorter than the other suspect with short brown hair and armed with a large revolver.

Vancouver police ask anyone with information to contact Detective Lawrence Zapata at 360-487-7420.
