MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Supercross is headed across the border to Canada and back to Minneapolis in 2013.

The 17-race schedule will start again at Angels Stadium on Jan. 5, the first of two stops in Anaheim, Calif., and conclude May 4 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.

It also will include a stop at Toronto’s Roger Centre on March 23 and a return to Minneapolis’ Metrodome after a four-year absence on April 13.

Supercross also will return to regular stops Dodgers Stadium in California, Cowboys Stadium in Texas and Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Ryan Villopoto will be the two-time defending champion in 2013 after wrapping up this year’s title with four races left, the fastest to clinch in series history.
