DUNDEE, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say a missing 75-year-old Sherwood man was found dead in a car that crashed down an embankment off Highway 99W near Dundee.

A truck driver reported seeing the car Tuesday in heavy brush.

Troopers found the body of Richard Smith. He apparently drove off the road last weekend. His family had not seen him since Friday. Police say he used a credit card to buy gas early Saturday at a casino in Grand Ronde.
