TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Rookies Vicki Baugh and Lorin Dixon were waived Monday by the Tulsa Shock as they trim down their roster prior to the start of the regular season this Saturday.

Baugh, a center who played under Pat Summitt at Tennessee, was the opening pick of the third round of this year’s draft. Dixon was a training camp invitee.

The Shock still must cut two more players by Thursday night. They start the season Saturday night against San Antonio.
